"Transgender" describes someone whose gender identity is different than the sex assigned at birth. This reality can be evident at an early age.

 

Raising Rainbows provides a safe and fun time for children - preschool through middle school - to be with peers who identify as transgender, gender fluid, or whose gender expression doesn’t fall into traditional gender identities or expressions.

 

Parents and Salem member-volunteers monitor and participate in fun activities with children, letting "kids be kids" among friends.

 

Parents also share resources and support of each other in raising their children.
