A native of Austin, Texas, and a third-generation minister, he lives in Doylestown with his wife, best friend, and love of his life, Ellen. They have four adult children and one grandchild. David enjoys movies, reading, history, the gym, and pecan pie. His essays appear on Medium.com.
David is a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and The University of Texas at Austin, and is ordained in the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), his tradition of origin. He is proud to have served Salem since 2017.
