David believes all people possess inherent worth and dignity, and are created by God for a life of meaning, purpose, hope, peace, and loving service to others.
A native of Austin, Texas and a third-generation minister, he lives in Doylestown with his wife, best friend, and love of his life, Ellen. They have four adult children and one grandchild. David enjoys classic movies, reading, history, the gym, and pecan pie. His essays appear on Medium.com.
David is a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and The University of Texas at Austin. He is ordained in the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and has served Salem since 2017.
